Cookie notice

Interparking SA uses a technology called a “cookie” on the site www.interparking.be and on its affiliated websites (subscribe.interparking.com, brusselsairport.interparking.be and carwash.interparking.be)  (hereafter the “Site“).

This notice provides you with information about the cookies used on the Site, their purpose and the choices that you can make regarding the use of the cookies. It is intended for all Internet users who log on and visit the Site.

1. What is the purpose of the cookies and what are your rights concerning their use?

A cookie is a piece of information stored on your computer or the device that you use to go onto the Internet (the “Connection Equipment”). When you carry on browsing or you revisit the site which placed it, your browser passes that piece of information onto the server which placed it, during the period of validity of that cookie. This allows it to identify that the connection comes from the same Connection Equipment.

There are different types of cookies, including the following which are used by Interparking on the Site or which are likely to be placed by other companies than Interparking when you visit the Site’s pages:

The use of these cookies is not subject to your prior authorisation and if you block them, browsing the Site can no longer work normally.

2. What is the data about you that is used?

The cookies are not used to link information about your browsing on the Internet to your identity. Their purpose is to be able to recognise an item of Connection Equipment (for example, to ensure the tracking of an online purchase procedure through different stages) and to be able to differentiate it from others (for example, when it comes to drawing up Site traffic statistics). The connection IP addresses are also collected for Site traffic analyses because they enable it to be determined into which region of the world they are allocated  and consequently they allow better targeting of where the internet users interested in the information and services provided by the Site are located.

3. What are the legal bases on which we use the browsing information?

The information associated with the session, authentication and security cookies are used to respond to a service request that you have asked for (browsing the Site, creation of, access to and protection of a user account). We ask for your consent for customisation and analytics cookies to be used.

4. How can you refuse or block cookies?

When you go onto the Site, we advise you about the use of cookies and ask for your consent to use customisation and analytics cookies. As long as you do not click on “activate” or do not continue browsing the Site, the cookies are not placed. You can, at any time, restrict or block cookies emanating from the Site, from your Internet browser. The IAB association which brings together all professionals in the digital marketing field (advertisers, agencies and media) has set up the site http://www.youronlinechoices.com which informs you about the use of cookies and their deactivation depending on the browser that you are using. Deactivating cookies can have an effect on the displaying of the Site content or the accessibility to certain applications.
